1101 Walk To Commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Squadron on Air Cadet Sunday

On Sunday 7 February, 1101 (Kettering and District) Squadron Air Cadets undertook our first ‘11.01’ – a walk of 11.01 miles

16 Cadets, 3 walking Staff and 2 support Staff in a chase car completed the walk. The start was our adventure training home of Twywell Hills and Dales Country Park, in Cranford East Northamptonshire, through Warkton, East and North Kettering, through the Town Centre and finishing at the Squadron Headquarters in Northampton Road

Walk

All Cadets and Staff completed the walk without issue, blisters permitting.

This was the first of our anniversary celebrations this year, as it is not only the 75th anniversary of the Squadron in March but 2016 is also the 75th anniversary year of the Air Training Corps
